Globally, over 1 billion people are affected by a mental illness. In South Africa alone, more than 17 million people are battling with depression, substance abuse, anxiety and bipolar disorder illnesses. Most people do not understand mental health problems in general. They cannot afford paying for psychological counselling services and others have no access at all. Mental health in general is a difficult subject and many fail to express themselves freely for fear of stigma, discrimination and being judged. October is Mental Health Month. Auxilium Health is giving you the opportunity to participate in the “What’s your line up like” campaign to end stigma, discrimination, lack of access and financial resources. It is about appreciation and acceptance of our uniqueness, a chance to say it aloud and to solve problems. The campaign is centred around a 3 step T-Shirt challenge that requires you to express yourself freely and embrace who you are, without fear of being discriminated and judged. This unique campaign will further help to fund disadvantaged people to freely access mental health services through our Psych-Aid programme. Enter the challenge by ordering your T-Shirt today or in-store at 18 Mouton Road, Shop 4, Horizon View Building, Horizon or call us at 011 050 5281 / 068 144 0222 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Let the whole world know, “What your line up like?” and give others a chance to share their line-up.
